The Heart O’ The Ozarks Campground is located in the Ozark Mountains of North Central Arkansas. We are 1.5 miles off MC 178 just outside the town of Flippin in Marion County. Flippin is a good hub location for an Ozarks vacation with Bull Shoals Lake situated just north of town, the White River to the east and Buffalo National River to the west. A state boat launch located ¼ mile from the campground makes for quick, convenient water access to Bull Shoals Lake. For those who wish to spend the day away from the water, Eureka Springs, a quaint Victorian town, is west about 60 miles, and Mountain View, home of the Ozark Folk Center and Blanchard Springs Caverns, is about one hour south. A nearby north-south, highly-traveled route is US Highway 65 from Des Moines, Iowa, to Natchez, Miss., through Little Rock, Ark., Branson and Springfield, Mo. U.S. Highway 65 is 30 miles west of Flippin. Nearest interstate highways are Interstate 44 (140 miles north) and Interstate 40 (120 miles south).
